During the end of my time at Fife College studying Interior Design (HND), I, along with two of my classmates, were given the opportunity for our first live project. Our task was to turn an outdated class room which was formally a classroom used by catering students to practice their hospitality skills and then became a storage room for old desks, into a new fully functioning Bistro and restaurant.

This was an incredible opportunity to be part of and allowed me to work directly with architects, senior interior designers, trades crew and especially with the clients. Being involved with the entire process through out the project, from the ideas conception all the way through to opening night, has taught me a great deal which I was fortunate enough to experience with my fellow classmates turned colleagues.
